my goals: I really attaint the goals since the beginning of my internship, because of working with my coworkers that help me a lot to get along with the kids , explaning the meaning of my duties and make me improve the english language. I am really excited cause, the kids are learning so fast the basket ball drills and skills, the practice was so intense for them.
Stratégies: I'am still using some of the stratégies when i'm Learning another language. It really help me to learn some new words and to be confident of myself , not to be scare to communicate with others peoples. When I'm Learning English , i'm focus only on three stratégies repetition, low inhibition and talking to myself. Those are the stratégies that really help me a lot, when i'm having difficult on the words or a sentence.
language: my level English improve very well, because before i had a lot of problems on ponctuation and structure. On ponctuation, i didn't know where to put it to separate my sentence, so my phrases were disorganized and my structure didn't make sense . so i had to work harder to improve my English writing.
growth: i learned a lot of stuff about myself , be confident, controling the kids, be on charge and learn others culture. I can be confident from now for not to be afraid to speak with people on any language if i want to improve my English and to know other peolples by talking. since from now i was on charge with the kids on basket ball, i can that on my resume my experience with the kids on basket ball programs.
the internship:i gain how to be responsible with so many kids , keep my calm and be patient with them that were my my goals of my experience.
gratitude: my internship is not finish yet , but anyway i still wrote a card to her , it least the day i'm going to be done , i'm going to give it to her . Dear Emilie, thank you for the stage , i had really fun with the kids helping them with their home works and improving their basket ball skillz. I never going to forget the first time ,you introduce me to the kids cause, one of the children was really happy to see me because , i was african.
placement: i will recommend my internship placement to another children, because the u get along with nice people who wants to make friends, they always helping when ever you need, the children are so funny even if they are little bit hard to control.

breaking it down
My English improve so far.
listening comprehension : when I started my internship, it was more easier for me to understand and communicate with the people. Firstly, when I started , I was more shy to approach people on communicate because of the culture and the life style ,but when I get along with them , I wasn't shy anymore , I become like a dog who's always dynamic with people.
Accent: I really have English accent when I'm communicating with peoples, before I had a lot of difficult to pronounce some words , example friends and crying . those are my two difficult words to pronounce, because of the 'R' I don't roll my tongue to say the word 'R'. those are my two goals for the weeks to be better to pronounce the 'R' on every words.
fluency : I become more fluent on English , I'm more confident right now to talk any subject with my coworkers compare to before , I didn't had the trust on me to communicate on subject, cause I was afraid to make errors in front of everyone. Since I start my internship things really change on me , my communication, the confident and not to be afraid not to talk.
humour: English and French humour got a lot of comparison ,the inconvenient between them is the way they say it. French people understand more their joke humour but when they listen English humour they're not really appropriate in the joke , same as English people. If the person is bilingual he can understand and approach with any peoples to communicate and understand any kind of humour.
Accuracy: I improve my accuracy a little better, I observed a lot of writing structure with kids by helping they're home works and learn a lot of pass tense by studying with them.
expression: I didn't heard no expressions, but I learned my coworkers some new expressions example, every cloud has a silver lining : be optimistic, even difficult times will lead to better days. the reason I said that's it's because the person had a very difficult times to work with the kids by their behavior , and he was on depress. after expressing myself , he feel a little better.

cultural encounters
between my internship i realize anglophone culture are a little similar to an francophone culture, because of there lifestyle.
per example, I ask one of my the worker that is English what kind of living does he do , he mentioned he eats poutine , he like to listen a comedy jam French or English and he play hockey as fun with his friend. Some of English peoples likes how French culture is based on with others country's and religion.
when I ask to a French worker about his lifestyle to see the difference or the convenient about the French and the English culture , he mentioned he watch football, he hang out with his friends , most of his friends are English its the advantage for him to learn English and the culture about them , he plays hockey too , like music and arts.
to conclude , English and French culture are so much convenient apart there' a lot of advantage between them .

lingustic inteference
when I was 8 years old , my first language was French , than when I move to north Carolina at the state , that's where my whole life has change , why ? because I started to speak English more than French , I was considering myself as an English person , I couldn't even spoke French and write . 2 years later I moved to Canada, when I move my mom wanted to register me at the English school but that didn't happened because both of parents had to study on English when they were young. So I decided to register at the French school. That's were my linguistic interference begins.
first, when I'm trying to communicate on French, I am saying in English then translating in French that really affect my language , cause when I am trying to express myself on English or French I'm thinking one of these language, before collaborate.
At my internship , I can really express my English without getting no help with the host or the monitor. cause that's the reason were doing the internship improve the language. my impression of my internship placement
my impression of the placement, I didn't really had a impression of the place, cause all wanted it's to do my internship . it's better that my placement is at lasale , because I can develop my English much better by cooperating with people.
